Blind Yeo

"An amazing male-female psychedelic folk outfit from Cornwall, signed to Bongo Joe. Wonky, krauty, psychedelic folk fusion, with fantastic reviews and a real buzz building around them."

Blind Yeo are the kind of band that could only exist somewhere like Falmouth, the remote, creatively fervent Cornish town they call home. Founded by singer-guitarist Will Greenham, who also co-founded the town’s beloved venue The Cornish Bank, they operate as a fluid collective of multidisciplinary artists, with around 15 people passing through the lineup so far.

At its core alongside Will are cellist Phyllida Bluemel, drummer Sam Pert, guitarist Phil Self, synth player and co-vocalist Anoushka Helm, and Will’s son Henry Greenham, the band’s “chief riff architect” on synths. Together they span sun-bleached folk, desert blues, Krautrock and North African trance-rock, performing in the surreal shrouds and headgear first made for their Anam Cara video.

Debut album The Lemoine Point (Bongo Joe, August 2026) presents eight songs of euphoric, multilayered psychedelia about grief, joy, spirituality and our connection to the natural world. Produced by Sam Jones at north Cornwall’s Airfield Studios, it’s led by the single Colour Pillow / Kologo, inspired by the Ghanaian kologo and the joy of its funeral performances.

The album has drawn support from NPR, KEXP, BBC 6 Music, FIP and Bandcamp Daily, following a UK tour with sold-out shows in London and Edinburgh, and European dates including Trans Musicales and Fusion Festival.
